I am so thankful I got to spend Mother's Day with my Mom and baby girl.
The husband was out of town so, my little and I (and the dog) packed up and spent the weekend at my parents house. It was so nice to sit on their front porch watching Caroline play in the gardens and talking about anything and everything.
I cherish those talks so much.
We've always had such an open relationship, I hope Caroline and I are fortunate enough to have the same.
Here are a few snap shots from our weekend.
And, can we talk Mother's Day Gifts?!
I FINALLY finished Caroline's Photo Blocks from Christmas. I made a set for all the baby cousins and never finished hers. Christmas in May... that could be a thing, right!?
Then, Caroline and I made a finger and foot print flower pot for Grandmama. She's the ultimate gardener (among her many talents) and loves and fun handmade gift.
The husband and little gave me this sweet personalized picture frame with a collection of family pictures.
(yes, that is his hand on my bum... at church!)
Speaking of my Mom's many talents...
She surprised me with this gorgeous panting of my little in the bluebonnets to hang in our new house.
She says its not quite finished but I LOVE it!
If you spotted the necklace up top, here's in info on that.
It's by a company called Fashion Scents and they specialize in essential oil jewelry.
I'm new to the whole essential oil thing, and not sure if I am going to completely jump on the wagon just yet, but the jewelry is sooooo cute! You should go LIKE them on facebook.
New items are added every week, Tuesday I think.
If you were able to spend time with your Mom this Mother's Day, I hope it was full of laughter and sweet conversations.
And to those who's Mothers are no longer physically here...
remember,
it's okay to be sad.
But, I hope your day was filled with joy knowing she is up in Heaven looking after you just like she always had and always will.
Because that's what Moms do.
Have a pleasant weekend!
