Monthly Prescription :: Shower with a Friend

Hello Loves!

It's the 1st of the Month and it's time for a new Monthly Rx!

Btw... Did you say "Rabbit, Rabbit"?

I  always say "Rabbit, Rabbit" at the start of a new month, it is supposed to bring good luck.

If you want to learn more about the little white cotton tail tale click here!

Anyways...

Have you been watching the news lately?

If you haven't noticed... it's hot and dry!

We are in a serious drought and there are some big water hogs out there!

Oink, Oink!

So, this month, cut back on your water usage... Mmm-k?!

Turn the water off while you brush those pearly whites.

Only water your lawn during the hours recommended by your city.

Wait until you have a full load of dirty clothes.

You can wear jeans more than one time, no really, you can!

Take shorter showers!

A little trick I learned to get my niece in and out...

I created a playlist of three Taylor Swift songs and by the time Love Story is over,

shower time is complete!

And for the adults... shower with a friend!

How do you conserve water?

Hitting the Links with Irene

I hope everyone on the east coast is hanging in there!

I've experienced my fair share of tornadoes, but never a hurricane.

It doesn't sound like much fun and frankly,

pretty darn frightening.

My Brother-in-Law is stuck in New Jersey...

so what does he do to pass the time?

Looks like it banks to the left.

Those pesky little carpet grooves getcha every time!

Hopefully all of your loved ones are safe and sound!

40 Days and 40 Nights

Could it be?

After 40 days of 100+ degree heat,

I woke up to the sound of rain!

Oh Happy Dance :)

I love the rain!

I love the way it smells,

the little bit of silence you get while driving under a bridge,

and stomping through puddles in my rain boots!

Perfect day to read a book and listen to the sounds of liquid sunshine!
