I was at Bed Bath and Beyond today searching for a bridal gift for my lovely "sister in law" when I came upon this blast from the past!

This sunny floral comforter looks just like the one I had when I was twelve years old! 

It was the bedding from my Grandfather's guest room at his home in Dallas. I loved that bedding so much and remember living in that room all summer watching the Atlanta Olympics while he was in the hospital after a bad fall.

Shortly after the 4th of July, he passed, and I brought the retro, hippie, green and yellow bedding home with me and kept it until I graduated High School.

Doesn't this print just make you smile :)

Way to go Kate Spade! I would love it for my guestroom!
